Review: Revlon Colorburst Lipstick

28 Jun

Hello everyone! This lipstick line has been released for a while but here’s my review on the lipstick.

Review: The shade that I picked up is Blush it’s a nice nudey rose color that enhances my lip color (therefore classified as a my lips but better color). There is no scent and it glides on pretty smooth on the lips. Not as moisturizing as I’d like it to be but the color payoff is really good. The color is buildable as for staying power I get about 3-4 hours max excluding drinking and eating. Overall a great lipstick but I won’t be purchasing more as I feel like it can be a bit drying at times.

Cost: $8-10CDN @ drugstore and supermarkets

Would I recommend this product? Yes they are beautiful shades and the packaging is gorgeous!

Posting Update

26 Jun

Hello everyone! So you’ve probably noticed that I’ve been MIA for a few days and that is because I am moving! Yes! My family isn’t moving houses though I am just switching rooms with my brother (but I still have to share my room with my sister). We are also planning to paint the walls again (fingers crossed that it isn’t going to be white) so I’m going to be missing for quite some time.

I haven’t forgotten about you guys and hopefully I’ll be able to post more fun things in the future but for this week and possibly next week I will be very busy attempting to juggle painting the house, switching rooms, reorganizing items, throwing away items, and karate lessons. There will be posts but these posts are scheduled and they will only be reviews on makeup products so that I can catch up on them.

Thanks for understanding (or not if you don’t choose to understand) and the regular programming will continue after moving and painting has finished. (I’m planning on posting about my experiences with moving and painting my house)

And since I usually add photos to my posts here are some of my current room please note that not everything is gone yet so yeah… lots of work to do.

Review: MAC Dazzleglass Creme in Perfectly Unordinary

21 Jun

Hello everyone! Remember when I ordered some stuff from allcosmeticswholesale.com well this is the first product I’ll be reviewing from it. This MAC lipgloss was limited edition and is currently not available at MAC counters and stores.

Review: I wasn’t expecting to be blown away or anything but it was sort of like a meh it’s pretty good but not that good sort of feel for me. MAC Dazzleglass Cremes were released back in 2010 I believe in it’s own collection it is a mixture between the Dazzleglass formula (glitter) and Cremesheen (creamy) formulas. I picked up Perfectly Unordinary which is a mid-tone pink with gold glitter. It’s a pretty ordinary color something for everyday which is great and the glitters add a nice oomph to the shade to make it a little different from other gloss shades on the market but I still feel like it’s still dupable. Anyways, packaging is nice and there is no MAC signature vanilla scent. Wear time for me ends up being about 2-3 hours without eating and drinking (I drink a lot of water what can I say?) it’s also non-sticky. What I dislike is that after the gloss wears away the glitter is leftover on your lips… which isn’t attractive at all. Overall, a nice gloss but not a huge fan of the formula.

Cost: $10 USD @ allcosmeticswholesale.com

Would I recommend this product? I would but the glitter puts me off purchasing more of these types of glosses from MAC. If you like glitter than this is for you but if not then I don’t recommend it.

Lost and Found

20 Jun

Hello everyone! Do you remember way back in March when I attended the Soba Bowl V Anime Festival? Well I have finally gotten one photo off my darn camera. And that’s of the stuff that I purchased. Sorry for posting it up so late.

But hey, who hates Pocky?

Review: ELF Natural Radiance Blushers

18 Jun

Hello everyone! The last ELF review for this time around (I will be repurchasing more ELF products and hopefully also order some products from the Studio line next time).

(Glow, Flushed)

Review: As you can tell the blushes are pretty pigmented except Glow which sometimes shows up or sometimes doesn’t show up on my skintone. These blushes are silky smooth as well and they are great blushes with no scent. Glow is a coral color with golden glitters in it (not huge glitter but there is some) and Flushed is a nice raspberry shade with slight glow (silver shimmer is what it looks like) and both shades work great for lighter to darker skintones. It lasts for quite some time I can get about 8 hours if I’m not moving much (office day) and about 5-6 hours if I’m moving about more (exercising). Again packaging is pretty bad it’s a slide out packaging and Glow got stuck on mine which is why it’s all powdery and broken.

Cost: $1.00USD @ eyeslipsface.com

Would I recommend this product? Yes very definately despite the packaging it’s a great product for little cost!
