A secondary entry into this category… I should update it more often. But here is who I have been rocking to recently.

T-ara (Tiara however you want to pronounce it) the Absolute First Album. This is actually a pretty good album I couldn’t believed that I missed out on this when it first released in Dec 27, 2009. (O.O) Really missed out on it the first round.

It’s me!

I realized that I haven’t posted anything with my face on it… strange… I did that very very often. But here we go! Check out my face!

Yeek! I look so pink!! Like the shirt? Heh….

Just a quick update from me. I’m almost done the STEP program for my job just a few more weeks left then I am absolutely free!

From  the picture you can tell that my skin isn’t acting up and such but it’s pretty red due to the nature of the medication (peel the skin peel!). My scars are slowly going away (hooray!) and the pores are actually shrinking as well. Exfoliation is the key!

Putting this out there but there is going to be a bunch of beauty posts next and then I’m going away for vacation on the first week of Aug I believe… but yeah! This update was short but sweet.

*Note to self: Find the video camera to start filming Youtube videos.

Fall makeup collections are slowly making their way into the industry and out of the ones that have been released these two companies fall collections are the one that I am most looking forward too!

First up the Body Shop:

The fall collection is called ”Smoke & Fire” and the one product that I look forward to is:

The Autumn Leaves Compact (retail $21 USD) which comes in Chestnut and Berry (above). It is a beautiful compact and definately just for a collector’s sake. ^_^ Me personally I love pretty packaging but for something that looks this cool I will definately purchase! This collection is hitting the Body Shop stores July 6.

Too Young?

Kids these days are getting more and more grown up at a younger age especially when it comes to wearing makeup.

Here is a 6 year old demonstrating a makeup look.

So I gotta ask you when did you start wearing makeup? When is it acceptable to wear makeup?

For me I started wearing makeup at the tender age of 17 just in time for graduation. All that I wore at that time was some powder to blot my face. I really got into makeup during the summer of 2009 (which was after grad…) and it slowly began to pick up. Looking at how much my makeup collection has grown really surprised me. ^_^ I have a greater appreciation for all things beauty related as compared to when I was 15 and scoffed at kids my own age wearing makeup.

I think the perfect time to wear makeup is starting in Jr High and I think just starting off little by little is great. Setting limits on how much your girl can put on. For example Gr 7 they are allowed to wear lipgloss, Gr 8 some mascara, Gr 9 eyeshadow… etc. Building their repitoire slowly allows them to gain self-confidence. ^_^

MAC + Disney Collab

It’s official MAC Cosmetics is collabing with Disney for the Venomous Villains.

I don’t know if I should save up for this collection or not… as much as I like Disney I’m not a huge fan of the villains. If I were to pick up some items from this collection it would probably be Innocence, Beware! Lipstick from Cruella De Vil and Strange Potion Lipglass from the Evil Queen.

I’m going to think about this collection a little more… someone wanna pick these items up for me for my birthday (which coincidently is in Sept)? ^_^
