Review: Wet ‘n Wild Trio in I’m Feeling Retro

7 Jun

Hello everyone! I saved my favourite trio for last so are you glad that I am done reviewing all of my Wet ‘n Wild trios?

Description: A fun trio featuring a Browbone of shimmering and glittering white, Crease a light shimmering navy blue, and Eyelid of a bright shimmering pink-purple.

Review: There is one standout shade in this palette and it is the pink-purple shade it is just a stunner and works beautifully on the eyes. The other two shades are a little hard to work with the Browbone sometimes hardly shows up on skin and the Crease has a pigmentation issue that can be worked out by packing on the eyeshadow. But for the stunning pink-purple shade I think that this eyeshadow palette is worth the purchase. Texture on the Eyelid shade is very smooth and pigmented while the Crease and Browbone shades were a little denser but still easy to blend with and apply. Lasting power is that same as all the others a full 8 with primer and 4 hours without. Overall, a nice eyeshadow palette for those willing to work with the eyeshadows a little more.

Cost: $3.99CDN @ Superstore and Walmart

Would I recommend this product? Yes for those who are a lover of bright pink-purple shades!

Review: Wet ‘n Wild Trio in I Got Good Jeans

5 Jun

Hello everyone! This is the second last trio review from Wet ‘n Wild so it is almost to it’s end.

Description: A trio filled with royal shades Browbone a shimmering silver light blue, Crease a shimmering dark navy blue, and Eyelid a darker copper gold.

Review: Out of all the palettes I use this is one of my favourite go tos because of the gold and blue they just work so well together and I always like reaching for blues for some odd reason. But this palette is a little different from the others as the navy blue is actually not that pigmented and is hard to work with compared with the other shades. These shades work very well with each other and is a great palette. Staying power is the same as the others a full 8 hours and 4 hours without primer. Once again they are easy to blend but also easy to blend the color off your eyelid. Overall, another great trio from Wet ‘n Wild that I love.

Would I recommend this product? Yes, as it is a very good trio and the gold eyeshadow is to die for.

Review: Wet ‘n Wild Trio in I Dream of Greenie

3 Jun

Hello everyone! We are halfway through and this second portion is all the colorful trios from this line which is really exciting. Let’s get on with the review.

IMG_1635 IMG_1638 IMG_1670

Description: A fun green themed palette with the Browbone a light shimmering mint green, Crease a shimmering mossy green, and Eyelid a bright glittery lime green.

Review: All the eyeshadows were very easy to work with and are extremely pigmented. The problem that I have with this one is that it is a little loose in the pan as shown with the browbone shade. This one had a lot of fallout and there is a high possibility of the eyeshadow breaking in the pan as the eyeshadows are really soft. Of course these are pigmented nicely but if blended out too much they will bleed into the other shade or you can blend away the actual shade itself. Overall, a bright fun trio that requires some time to ensure that it looks nice on the eyes.

Cost: $3.99CDN @ Superstore and Walmart

Would I recommend this palette? Yes, it is a stunning selection of greens perfect for any warm weather and especially for St. Patrick’s Day.

Review: Wet ‘n Wild Trio in Silent Treatment

31 May

Hello everyone! I cannot say good things and am running out of words to describe these palettes other then they are awesome but I still must continue to do my best in reviewing these. We are halfway through reviewing all the trios that I own from Wet ‘n Wild.

Description: A trio with cooler eye shadows Browbone is a light shimmering pink, Crease is a dark glittering brown, and Eyelid is a shimmering cool-tone gray taupe.

Review: This trio is a gorgeous blend of light and dark colors and is definitely suited for cooler months. My favourite shade out of this entire palette is actually the crease shade and it is a little sheerer than most dark browns thus can be easily packed on for intensity or just a sheer darken brown perfect for contouring the eyelid. Once again, the eye shadows are smooth, buttery and creamy but can be blended off the eye very easily. Overall, a great palette for cooler months as well as for everyday purposes.

Review: Wet ‘n Wild Trio in Don’t Steal my Thunder

27 May

Hello everyone! This is the start of many Wet ‘n Wild trio reviews so please be prepared or feel free to tune out for the next little while.

Description: A silver smokey eye trio. Browbone shade is a shimmering bright white, Crease is a matte black, and Eyelid is a shimmering grey silver.

Review: I have a general love for Wet ‘n Wild eyeshadows considering their price tag and how pigmented their shades are. This trio does not disappoint all three shades are pigmented and can be built up. With a primer they can easily last for 8 hours and more but on my oily lids without primer takes about 4 hours for the shades to appear somewhat muddy and not as bright as when I first apply them. The shades are very soft and pigmented but sometime you can easily blend the shade off your eyelid. Overall, a great eyeshadow palette for those on a budget and are looking for great eyeshadows.

Would I recommend this product? Yes, this eyeshadow trio is excellent.
