Review: Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains

16 Apr

Hello everyone! A few lovely lip products to review and they are something extremely exciting from the drugstore that I finally picked up.

Description: Honey – a mauve dark pink, Cherish – a light cool-tone pink, and Charm – a beige neutral lip shade

Review: There is something about easy to use lip products that just suck me in and the Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain really sucked me in. When they first came out I ressisted for a few weeks and then picked one up. The one balm stain turned into three… man, multiplication sure is scary. Anyways, onto the product review I have been loving these and they are a great product for everyday wear and easy to use and bring for touch ups. They are semi-pigmented as the name states they are only a stain so there is a bit of color but not too much. On the lips there is quite a glossy look that lasts for about 2 hours (without eating or drinking) but if the stain is a darker color it will stick around for 2 hours making a total of 4 hours wear time before touch up for this product. I really like that there is a tingly mint sensation from the formula (very similar to Tarte’s Lipsurgance) but it might be a tad bit too much for those with sensitive lips. Overall, a great product and would purchase more if my storage had any more space.

Cost: $9-11CDN @ local drugstores, supermarkets

Would I recommend this product? Yes, yes, yes, and YES! These lip stains are great for everyday use (depending on the shade) they are long-lasting, has a minty tingle and is set at a great price. RUN, don’t walk to pick up these lip stains they are awesome!
