Closet Space

11 Jan

Hello everyone! I am back with a picture of my closet.

Yes there is a magnet stating ”If stress burned calories I’d be a Supermodel”.

I wonder if I have too much clothes or if it’s just my sister’s clothes. But I will be cleaning out the closet soon after I rearrange the clothes in my side of the dresser.

So quick question: The clothes that you don’t wear anymore or don’t fit do you keep them or give them away/donate them? (I think I’m guilty of buying clothes I think will fit but totally don’t fit and I think I will eventually lose enough weight to wear them. In reality I have a large bone structure so I won’t be able to fit into it even if I was skinnier…).

Thoughts & Ends

10 Jan

Hello everyone! Ever since I have discovered that I have an & button I’ve been using it a lot! Even though it really doesn’t need to be used but don’t you think it’s cool? This post is on my thought of blogging and it comes from my heart to yours.

I’ve been blogging for a year, 2 months and a quarter (of a month) and I have to say my blogging skills still aren’t any better. I have learned how to schedule posts if I’m going to be gone, I can change themes and post pictures, and I have learned that people do stumble across blogs like mine and read it. I don’t think I have the most interesting content in the world but I had hoped that I could help people be a little more knowledgable and happy with their life. Sad to say after all this time I have no achieved my goal and I still think I have a long way to go.

So to improve myself and this blog I am going to begin to expand into the vast world of the internet. Gone will be the days of staying behind a screen and pictures this blog will become personal and hopefully helpful to many people. Places I hope to expand to are Youtube (which I have talked about so much I might as well begin there) and other social media networks. By doing video blogging or vlogging as it is liked to be called I can reach a wider audience with  a message I want to send (what kind of message it’s still to be decided). I hope that I can expand my world even further out than it is right now.

Finally I want to thank all those who read my blog and even those who just stumble on it because of you I could become a better person and have hopefully shared some of my happiness with you. Thank you all and I hope that you will continue to support me for many years to come!

Before I forget I must post up a funny picture of myself (as I like to think I’m humourous but not…)

Ahaha look at those faces! I amuse myself sometimes…

Sandwiches & Weather

8 Jan

Hello everyone! So today was a great day. Lots of snow so that equals a lot of shovelling. So just to show you how much snow we got in Edmonton:

And that was this morning… it’s got a shwack load now.

Because the snow was so thick and light and stuff… it was very very hard to drive through the thing. You’d get stuck and have to back up get stuck again then back up. This was my mom’s attempt trying to drive through it and in the end I was driving and she kept yelling at me to drive proper… couldn’t you have cut me so slack as I have never drove in those conditions before (those conditions being falling snow and driving a huge van!). I’m still alive and it’s all good.

So to celebrate that I was still alive I had A&W Mama burgers and I never eat fast food because I mean even though they say that it’s healthy it’s not really healthy. Picture!

Hope everyone is having a great day. I’m just going to go into a little corner and drink hot chocolate.

First Major Purchase of the Year

5 Jan

Hello everyone! Today was the day I bought my textbooks and I also bought some other stuff. I won’t show my textbooks because I don’t think that I have all the ones that I need. So here are the things that I bought:

Samples size perfums courtesy of Walmart original retail price as you can tell is $29CDN but I got it for $7CDN each. CRAZY!!

Retail Cost – $65USD I got it for $40CDN (Yeah!)

Writing books (they remind me of Japanese paper bound books) $1CDN each, Nose Pore Strips – $5CDN, Joe Fresh Eyeshadow in Pale Pink for $2 ($2 coupon how could I not resist picking up a backup of my favourite color?)

*Note: They were all on sale or things I really need (thus the justification) and I bought everything with my own money.

Childhood Rereads

5 Jan

Hello everyone! So recently before school starts I’ve been trying to rediscover books that I truly enjoyed reading while a child. I used to be an avid reader until I hit University now I have no time to go and read books. I feel like I’m being left out of the loop for current good books and such. But these are the top books that I read when I was a child and am reading right now before school starts again.

Need I say more?

I think everyone has read this at one point or another.

I don’t have any other books I can showcase as the rest are not independent standing (series I loved reading were Goosebumps and Nancy Drew).

Masking my Face

Hello everyone! So today I just bought a bunch of face masks for a really good price. Products I regret buying – Makeup

3 Jan

Hello everyone! This is a photo of makeup products that I regret buying. I’m also going to be doing one for skincare as well but that’s something totally different. So these are the products that I regret buying in 2010.

Products include:

The Body Shop Cheek Stamps (01 and 02) & Tea tree concealer (02)
Sally’s beauty inspired by Carmindy cream blushes (Ginger, Sunrise)
Wet ‘n’ Wild Blush (Spotlight Peach)
Stila Lipglaze (Cranberry, Candy, Plum Fairy & Starfruit) & Lip gloss (unknown bright pink color)
Revlon Colorstay Foundation (totally put off liquid foundation) & Mineralized Skin Finish (Brightening)
Maybelline Age Rewind Foundation & Colorsensation lipstick (pink please)
N.Y.C. pot lipgloss (watermelon) & Tinted Lip slider (sugar coated)
Clinique brow powder (shaping taupe)
Joe Fresh Lip gloss (nude)
MAC Viva Glam Gaga
Rimmel Moisture Renew (Nude delight)
Covergirl lipstick (it’s your mauve)
Bath & Body Works Liplicious (Grapefruit)
Nivea lipbalms (Cherry tint, caregloss and shine, sun protection)

That is a lot of product but then again I did buy many things in 2010. Hopefully after 2011 is over there won’t be as many products. In the meanwhile I am going to be trying to finish up these products then I can go buy new ones.
